Typing out all the bootscripts in chapters 7 and 9 can be a long, tedious process, not to mention very error-prone. To save some time, the bootscripts can be downloaded from http://packages.linuxfromscratch.org/bootscripts/&bootscripts-version;.tar.bz2 or ftp://packages.linuxfromscratch.org/bootscripts/&bootscripts-version;.tar.bz2.
